Abstract
Supplier networks are an important source of technological knowledge. We examine the conditions under which a buyer firm's innovation performance benefits from such spillovers. Specifically, we examine how shared technological knowledge between the buyer firm and its supplier network, technological breadth of the buyer firm, and the buyer firm's extent of global sourcing interrelate in influencing the firm's innovation performance.
