Abstract
This study explores successful female entrepreneurs’ characteristics, motivations, and leadership styles, emphasizing the impact of digital transformation on their business practices. Through 15 in-depth interviews conducted in Q1 2024, totaling approximately 1150 min, a qualitative thematic analysis identified key factors influencing entrepreneurial success. Findings reveal that female entrepreneurs prioritize economic stability over autonomy, often viewing entrepreneurship as a means of securing financial security rather than pursuing independence. Work-life balance emerged as a significant concern, with many participants structuring their business operations around family responsibilities. Emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in fostering trust, enhancing communication, and ensuring client and employee satisfaction. Additionally, digital tools, such as social media and other software, were widely adopted to optimize business operations, although concerns about biases in digital ecosystems were noted. Despite the advantages of digitalization, networking opportunities remain underutilized, highlighting the need for improved support systems. The study underscores the importance of redesigning organizational cultures and policies to accommodate diverse gender needs, contributing to ongoing discussions on gender equity in entrepreneurial ecosystems. By integrating theoretical and practical perspectives, this research offers valuable insights into the evolving landscape of female entrepreneurship in the digital era.
