Abstract

Predicting customer behaviour can make the difference between profit and loss for a retailer and there are many methods of recording and using behavioural patterns, but are they as accurate as they could be? Professors John Dawson, Nuria Agell and Monica Casabayo discuss how new developments in Artificial Intelligence can be applied to a variety of problems in retailing and can increase customer retention.
