Abstract
The process of thermal decomposition of tricyclohexylidene triperoxide in n-dodecane solution is studied using differential scanning calorimetry -DSC-. Kinetic analysis of data is performed using the non-parametric kinetics method -NPK-, not requiring any theoretical model and allowing the simulation of the behaviour of the process. Activation energy has a value of 1.5 · 10 5 J · mol-1 and a JMA model -Johnson, Mehl and Avrami- fits the data giving an indication of the type of process.
