Abstract

In his reception speech David Wilkins introduced us, with the accuracy of a surgeon and the unbiased approach of excellent scholars, to a rigorous dissection of the global legal profession: the forces behind the structural changes in the profession, the ways in which these forces are reshaping the profession, and offered an optimistic outlook towards some of the issues lawyers, regulators and law schools should be focusing on.
