N2 - An SRP approach was implemented in two university statistics courses. Its implementation was analysed through surveys and interviews held with the students, and the personal perception of the instructor. The analysis of the results indicates in what aspects the strategy followed, with a marginal SRP run in parallel to the lectures, promoted a move towards the paradigm of questioning the world. The experience was well-received by the students and positively affected the teacher’s practice. It also helped identify institutional restrictions such as the lack of time for the development of the activity.
