Resum
The presence of educational professionals and socio-educational activities in resi-dential spaces for people with intellectual disabilities has been consolidated in re-cent years and this makes it necessary to create instruments for evaluating these. The article discusses the construction and search for evidence of validity of the HAV-IDISC scale: Inhabiting Homes for People with Intellectual Disabilities. The instrument is useful for evaluating five dimensions: 1) relationship with the housing; 2) relationship with the individual room; 3) relationship with the shared room; 4) participation in housing planning; and 5) interiority and non-material needs. The results obtained through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis consolidate the instrument for the evaluation and improvement of educational projects for people with intellec-tual disabilities.
