Unión Política y gobierno económico europeo

This book chapters analyzes the institutional challenges in the development of Banking, Fiscal and Economic Unions in the context of a redesigned European Ecnomic and Monetary Union, focusing on the project of developing a "Political Union" to improve legitimacy and accountabilty of decision making in the eurozone. Without legal and political reforms the new architecture of EMU will lack social acceptance and will run into further problems.
