Resum

The use of TOFSIMS technique to analyze the carbon black surface during the squalene vulcanization reaction has been demonstrated to be a useful technique to follow the sulfur vulcanization kinetics. The results obtained are in agreement with those using the classic techniques HPLC and GPC. The results show that the intermediate compounds are strongly adsorbed on the carbon black surface.
