Resum

Experimental results of the new techniques developed in the last decades for time-frequency analysis are presented in the epileptic EEG. The main goal of this paper is to give different characteristics in 33 time-frequency distributions (TFDs) in events like detection and epileptic seizures. Methods from Atomic Decompositions, Energy Distributions, Reduced Interference Distributions and Optimal Kernel Design have been tested, in addition to the Stockwell Transform and other approaches like Friedman's density and Ridge method. After the analysis of several EEG registers, we conclude that similar results can be obtained using different methods. Finally, the amount of TFDs computations was done for a patient.
