The Oxford handbook of open innovation

This Handbook is the first reference created for the large, diverse, and growing field of Open Innovation. Four editors, 75 reviewers, and 136 contributors collaboratively developed 57 handbook chapters. These present the current state of the growing body of work in Open Innovation from leading scholars and researchers in the field. It brings together 48 chapters on academic aspects of the theory, and 9 chapters that show Open Innovation in practice in different industries. The empirical, conceptual, and practical insights of the Handbook highlight the importance of strengthening practice-inspired research, and purposeful knowledge exchanges between individuals, organizations, and ecosystems.
