Resum

IN this work we find differences between net income and comprehensive income (total revenues and expenses recognized) for 84 per 100 of quoted groups in Spain in 2008. For most of the companies comprehensive income is smaller than net income. The bigger the company the greater the difference and we also find divergences by sector. Big companies are the ones that record income and expenses directly in equity more times, and the most influential adjustment is foreign currency.
