Resum

The sustainability of the supply chain is vital for companies' long-term viability. Many companies adopt sustainable supplier development practices (SSDP) to enhance sustainability performance. Despite there is a substantial body of literature examining the impact of these practices on firm performance some of the findings have been inconclusive. One possible explanation for these mixed results is the global nature of supply chains, where the implementation of these practices occurs across different countries, each with its own unique national culture. This research aims to investigate the relationship between SSDP and firm performance by means of a meta-analysis with a specific focus on the moderating effect of national culture. Our findings advance knowledge and understanding of sustainable practices, guiding decisions and policies in sustainable supply chain management.
