Resum
A way to carry out simple isoperibolic experiments to obtain a rough estimation of the thermal potential of a proces is exposed. A procedure to estimate the global heat transfer coefficient between the reactor and its sourrondings is described. Solution of sodium hydroxide in water and neutralization of sodium hydroxide with hydrochloric acid are used as study cases.
