The world‘s energy flows are in constant evolution. Recent years have brought a shift from debates on peak oil to a flood of unconventional gas flowingfrom previously import-dependent states. Energy demand, meanwhile, is alsomoving across the globe: by estimates from the International Energy Agency, emerging economies will account for 90 percent of net energy demand growththrough 2035. In the realm of geopolitics, resource fluctuations bring aboutpower changes.
