Reacciones dominó y multicomponente (MCR)

The use of domino and multicomponent (MCR) reactions in current organic synthesis is increasing constantly. Such single step reactions allow the synthesis of a wide range of structurally diverse compounds in an efficient and economic way by using processes that are reasonably simple. Their applicability in the area of combinatorial chemistry has increased, during the past decade, the development of new and already known reactions as MCR processes. The present review covers the classification and characteristics of domino and MCR reactions together with the most recent applications.
