Resum
This proposal analyses: (a) the perception of 128 future primary about verbal cues in the additive word problems and
(b) their use of the verbal cues on this type of problems. We conclude that most of the students pose problems essentially constructed upon the use of verbal cues, and we argue!upon the importance in the teacher training of a
critical reflection of the use of verbal cues and their impact in primary students.
