La regulación jurídica de las familias reconstituidas en Cataluña: del proyecto de libro 2º del 2006 a la ley 25/2010, de 29 de julio, de libro 2º del Código Civil de Cataluña

Actually, one of the main additions to the new second book of the Catalan Civil Code has been the step families' regulation. The step families were the families, official married or not, with minors of the previous relationships. The previous time was not easy, it was started in 2006 through the Bill regulation and ended in 2008 with another Bill. This paper analyze this precedents and the final step family regulation, taking special care to the rights and obligations of the not progenitor married or couple with the minor, and to the possible problems or non regulations in the practice application of the new law.
