Resum
Departing from the idea of justice presented by Amartya Sen (The Idea of Justice, 2009), the authors criticize a contractualist approach to the concept of justice; and defend a justice that includes the influence in reality and individuals of political and legal institutions; and that opens the parochial idea of justice to the international and global arena. This new idea matches with the conception of justice defended by the Society of Jesus during its last General Congregations (nn.32, 34, 35). The global dimension of this institution (the Society oj Jesus) allows Jesuit Schools of Law to effectively promote such an innovative idea of justice.
