Introduction to the workshop on cross-cutting aspects of business process management

The Workshop on Cross-cutting Aspects of Business Process Management explored problems related to the areas of resource management, governance and sustainability in business process management (BPM). Specifically, it was a joint workshop gathering together the 2nd Workshop on Resource Management in Business Processes (ReMa), the International Workshop in BPM Application to the e-Government domain (BPMGOV) and the 2nd International Workshop on Sustainability-Aware BPM (SABPM). A total of 9 papers were submitted, of which four full papers and one short paper were accepted and presented in a half-day setting that aimed at motivating discussions on topics that could be of interest for the three workshops involved.
