Resum
Sustainable tourism in the development of tourist activities is defined as “the integration of management of all resources in such a way that economic, social and aesthetic needs can be fulfilled while maintaining cultural integrity, essential ecological processes, biological diversity and life support systems” (UN,2001a). Based on these ideas, this project seeks to establish relationships among the local community’s satisfaction, employee satisfaction and tourist satisfaction as key players in the system. A literature review was conducted to examine how these three concepts are related in the research to date. This allows us to identify the links to be uncovered, and to propose a research agenda to reach a comprehensive understanding of how these agents' satisfaction with tourist activities can contribute to the sustainable management of tourist destinations.
