Globalització, creixement econòmic i marges d'actuació dels governs

Four main topics are taken in consideration: the effects caused by economies' growing openness to FDI; the differences between the large structural changes that have occured since the end of the 1970s and the transformation that were produced during the first globalization (1870-1914); the effects created by the compettitive pressure due to the new emerging economies; and the analysis of the situation of public finances for the group of more developoed countries in the OCDE.
