Resum
The bioeconomy has emerged in the European environment as a transformative phenomenon in all areas, with particular intensity in the legal and economic sector. In the current context of sustainable development, waste recovery and forestry have taken a leading role in EU policies. This study presents the legal and economic reality of forest harvesting in Spain, through the study of the applicable legal regime, forest management mechanisms and the contribution of waste recovery and the bioeconomy to the forestry sector.
