title = "Evaluation of Undergraduates{\textquoteright} Perceptions on Post-Lecture Quizzes in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics",
abstract = "This research work presents the students{\textquoteright} feedback on quiz-based post-lecture activities with undergraduate students of a degree in Management of Business and Technology. Following each Microeconomics and Macroeconomics lecture, a quiz was uploaded in the Learning Management System (LMS) and students were given one week to answer the quiz. Regarding methodology, this study was done by a survey, including quantitative and open-ended questions. The results of our research study show that business students in their first year of studies have a largely favorable view of using quizzes with multiple-response questions as follow-up activities after lectures in their Microeconomics and Macroeconomics classes. Active learning resulted as the most appreciated aspect of the quiz activity. Based on students{\textquoteright} feedback, instructors could calibrate the activity to be less time consuming. Finally, when asked to nominate preferred learning tools to reinforce topics taught in class, quiz-based activities emerged as the most widely appreciated option among students, regardless of the platform used to deliver them.",
