Collection of 23 articles on the legitimacy of business schools. Business schools are arguably some of the key influential institutions in contemporary society, in as much as they heavily influence the way much socioeconomic activity are conducted. Thus the education provided in business schools is a theme in its own that has to be considered; perhaps even challenged. This exciting forthcoming book explores the role of business schools in contemporary global society through three key dimensions: - how business school legitimacy is challenged by the recent economic crisis and corporate scandals - how business schools contribute to shaping and transforming business conduct, and - how business schools, past and present, develop their identities to face the challenges presented by the ongoing globalization process.
