abstract = "A tapered-fed monopole antenna with loading of solid circle and parallel open-ended stubs (POES) for 5G and satellite application is proposed. The loading of solid circle at the centre and four POES symmetrically on left and right side of tapered feed line induces a lower band (FL) of (3.28 - 3.54 GHz) and upper band (FU) of (8.00-10.85 GHz) for operating in 5G and satellite applications simultaneously. The structure has a compact designed footprint of 40 × 40 mm2 and developed using FR-4 substrate having a thickness of 0.8mm. Furthermore, the antenna structure offers a gain above 2.5 dBi and efficiency above 80% in both the operating bands to meet the application requirements of 5G and satellite frequency bands.",
