Resum

Currently, since the introduction of the European Higher Education Area, European universities are explicitly required to promote the employability of their graduates, encouraging the acquisition of competences during their education. These competences will facilitate their professional development since it is clear that knowledge alone is not enough for their success on the job. As a result methodologies are developed to train students in competences, which is not an easy task, since students must be provided with situations similar to those they will encounter in their working environment. The university has two activities available that bring students closer to their future profession: internships in companies and final degree projects. In the field of Business Administration and Management, projects that answer to the preparation of a Business Plan are potentially a good opportunity to assess the level of competences acquired by students just before the end of their studies. This paper describes a methodology used successfully to assess the students’ perceived improvement in their level of some skills during the course of their Final Degree Project. The reliability of this research is achieved when considering the co-evaluation by their tutors. The results allow us to implement a continuous improvement cycle.
