Resum
The article reflects on the boom of the popular athletic events, profiles of the participants and the values to which they are linked. Some sporting events are linked to charity organizations such as the NewYork Marathon. In recent years they have al so proliferated races organized by, especially private banking business entities. Although such proposals are increasing, the research developed around them has been lacking.
