Many chemical experiments are based on colour observation of samples and solutions, but the colour determination, in order to reproduce it on a computer, is not completely solved. Otherwise, this simulation is a compulsory step while trying to represent in computers phenomena and experiments that involve coloured solutions. When the colour determination is analytically done, or better when the outgoing radiation from a solution is determined, UV-VIS spectrophotometers are used. This work exposes a procedure to obtain a fair simulation of the colour from the spectral data obtained by this method.
