Comparison Between Kjeldhal Method and the Elemental Analyzer in the Estimation of Nitrogen-content in Samples of Town Purifier Sludge and Soils

It has been studied the possibility of using the elemental analyzer to estimate the nitrogen content in purifier sludge and soils. Thereforwe, work conditions have been optimized and those values obtained with the elemental analyzer have been compared with the results of the application of the Kjeldahl method to the same samples. Both methods are comparable and one can observe the influence of the sample size in the results found using the elemental analyzer.
