The objective of this research is to evaluate a strategy to change secondary education science teacher's views on education, from a traditional to a constructivist view. The strategy is a continuing training course, specially designed for this purpose. The research design is experimental with three experimental conditions and a control group. Instructor influence and teacher personality were controlled variables. Special repertory grids were created to assess educational profile of teachers. ANOVA analysis with pre-test and post-test results and complexity analysis were applied. The main findings indicate changes in science teachers participating in experimental groups. The educational profile of teachers changed from traditional towards constructivist. The implication of this change is important for the teacher's day-to-day role in the classroom for more effective teaching and an answer to the general situation of student motivation towards learning science.
