N2 - We thank Jhaveri et al. for their comments regarding our recent publication.1 In our study, we observed a trend toward lower baseline diastolic blood pressure (DBP) in patients experiencing hematoma expansion.1 Although a similar counterintuitive finding was observed in a previous study in which a lower 24-hour minimum DBP was linked to higher hematoma expansion rates, this possible link has not been observed when adjusting the analysis by other factors.2.
