Resum

This paper is an invitation to rethink traditional ideas of careers as individual undertakings and open them up to plural career trajectories. It defines an increasingly relevant yet understudied career type - the shared career - as the coordinated task collaboration in the working lives of two or more professionals in which their careers evolve jointly.
