Resum
The paper presents the epistemological foundation from which the work of consultancy for developing local socioeducational networks is approached, focused on community development and transforming action. Grounded in experiences and research work carried out, we put forward the theoretical framework that upholds what we understand must be the approach of community development that guides the work of local educational network. The methodology followed is in turn described, with practical contributions developed in the area of intervention and duly reviewed, and reflections are made on those common aspects that have been appearing in the different consultancy actions. Attributes recognised as positive and that recurrently emerge, together with those difficulties that it is possible to repeatedly identify in the different context of network consultancy, allow us to recognise a specific catalogue of consultancy functions and to visualise a precise model of support to the interdisciplinary, transversal and coresponsible organisation.
