Resum

A new, high yield multicomponent reaction providing multifunctionalized pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidines in a microwave-assisted one-pot cyclocondensation of α,β-unsaturated esters, amidine systems and malononitrile (or ethyl cyanoacetate) is described (the 'Victory' reaction).
